Burning Up
Wanted this shot specifically but needed the right balloon and right amount of flame. Walked around the Fiesta park getting weird looks getting the angle I wanted shooting so close to the flames. It wasn’t until I came across a balloon crew that understood the type of shot I wanted and fully encouraged it asking me when I wanted them to pull the flame wire. I was so focused on getting the right amount of flame it wasn’t until the editing phase I noticed the balloons design included a Zia logo which brought the photo all together. Settings at 1/250 sec shutter, 4.0 f-stop, 100 iso, with the 20mm.
